TUNESS is a non-profit, non-political association that strives for achievements and success. The work performed by TUNESS is the product and effort of all members. The structure of the association is based on 5 committees in addition to a Treasurer (Marouan Grissa) and a President (Zied Driss). The chairpersons of the 5 committees listed next constitute the executive team. The executives and president are active members that were elected during the general meeting.

Nawel Amrouche, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Marketing at Long Island University, NY

She has a Bachelor degree in International Trade from IHEC Carthage (Tunisia), a Master and a Ph.D. degree in Marketing from HEC Montréal (Canada). She has published in several academic marketing and operational research journals. She has been a participant at various conferences including INFORMS Marketing Science Conference. She is affiliated with the Council of American Survey Research Organizations and the Group of Research and Decision Analysis. She is also an ad-hoc reviewer in many academic journals and a member of the JSR Review Board related to The Institute for International Management & Technology (IIMT) in India.

Bechir Bouzid, Ph.D. 

Management Specialist at the WorldBank, Washington DC

He has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from ISG Tunis, two Master's degrees from Paris XI Dauphine in Economics and Science-Po Paris (jointly with New York University) in Public Policy and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris IX Dauphine in Economics and International Finance. Before joining the WorldBank, he has worked for 8 years at the United Nations in NY in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (Governance and Public Administration Division) and in the International Civil Service Commission. He has published articles in multiple academic journals in Economics and Political Science and he currently a reviewer for the Political Research Quarterly.

Zied Driss, Ms.c.

Research and Development Engineer, Camfil Farr, NJ

He has a Master's degree in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Business in Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He is also a well-recognized expert in the filtration and aerosol research industry and holds a Chair role with ASHRAE Research Technical subcommittee 2.4 and worked on several project monitoring and project evaluation subcommittees. Among the core competencies are project management, research, development of Life Cycle Costs and Total Cost of Ownership.

Moez Hababou, Ph.D.

Director, Risk and Business Analytics, United Bank of Switzerland, NY

He has a Bachelor's degree from IHEC Carthage (Tunisia), a Master's degree in Finance from Laval University (Quebec City, Canada) and a Ph.D. in Management Science from York University (Toronto, Canada). His professional experience spans various areas including risk management, market research, and quantitative analysis. He has previously worked for Barclays Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Shorebank Corp. He has published before in several journals including Omega, the Journal of Productivity Analysis and the Federal Reserve Conference Proceedings.

Adnane Jaballah, Ms.c. 

Managing Director at Streamingedge.com, the IT arm of the InterDealer Broker Tradition, NY

He obtained a bachelor's degree in Finance at IHEC Carthage (Tunisia) and a Master's Degree in Finance at HEC Montreal (Canada). After starting his career in the financial industry in Tunisia (BIAT, Amen Bank), he moved on to work for a French fixed income broker (Viel & Cie) as a financial analyst for fixed income derivatives. He then specialized in Information technology and co-created one of the first real-time trading platforms for OTC derivatives.  He then pursued an international career at the InterDealer Broker Tradition where he managed the development and the deployment of many Trading platforms and back-office systems in Hong-Kong, Tokyo, Paris, Singapore, and London. He recently moved to NY where he was appointed Managing Director of Streamingedge, the IT arm of Interdealer broker Tradition.

Nabila Barakati, MS.c. 

She has a Master's degree in Finance and Insurance applied to Computer Science, from Polytech'Nice, France. She successfully finished an internship in New York with a French investment bank. Currently, she is assuming an IT consultant role in a Belgium financial software company, with core expertise in the evaluation of software performance. Since joining TUNESS, she took many roles and mainly a major role in the collection and distribution of the textbooks donation 2012 event.

Nesrine Yahia, MBA/ M.S. in Operations & Project Management

Operations Manager, Boston, Ma

She has a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages from Paris-Sorbonne University (Abu Dhabi, U.A.E). In addition, she has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Operations and Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University (Manchester, New Hampshire). She lived in 4 different countries which allowed her to have international experience in Promotions, Advertising, and Marketing with major companies such as Nokia, AGA-ADK (advertising company), Formula One… Also, she had assumed several positions throughout the years in Sales, Customer Service, Training, Merchandising, and Managing.
