This month, TUNESS Research Team interviewed the eminent Dr. M'hamed Oualdi (Assistant Professor at Princeton University in the Departments of Near Eastern Studies and History). The questions were related to the important historical events in Tunisia related to slavery and colonization, tension between Bourguiba and Ben Youssef, the Arab Spring and the potential of the Ottoman empire resurrection following the dynamic in the MENA region.
